PANGKALPINANG – Komitmen aparat penegak hukum dalam memberantas tindak pidana korupsi kembali ditunjukkan oleh Polda Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Kali ini, dua pengurus Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia (KONI) Kabupaten Bangka Barat periode 2020–2024 resmi ditahan terkait dugaan penyalahgunaan dana hibah yang mengakibatkan kerugian negara mencapai ratusan juta rupiah.
Berdasarkan informasi yang dihimpun, Ketua KONI Bangka Barat berinisial MA dan Bendahara berinisial MEP resmi ditahan oleh penyidik Subdit III Tindak Pidana Korupsi (Tipidkor) Ditreskrimsus Polda Babel pada Selasa (23/6/2026) malam. Keduanya kini menjalani masa penahanan di Rumah Tahanan (Rutan) Polda Babel guna kepentingan proses penyidikan lebih lanjut.
Kepala Bidang Humas Polda Babel, Kombes Pol Agus Sugiyarso, membenarkan adanya penahanan terhadap kedua tersangka tersebut.
“Iya, benar. Kita sudah menerima informasi bahwa MA dan MEP sudah dilakukan penahanan di Rutan Polda terhitung Selasa tanggal 23 Juni 2026 kemarin,” ujar Agus kepada awak media, Rabu (24/6/2026).
Menurut Agus, penahanan dilakukan setelah penyidik memiliki alat bukti yang cukup dan menetapkan keduanya sebagai tersangka dalam perkara dugaan korupsi dana hibah KONI Kabupaten Bangka Barat.
“Penahanan MA dan MEP yang dilakukan ini merupakan upaya paksa penyidik setelah keduanya ditetapkan sebagai tersangka,” jelasnya.
Penyidikan Libatkan Puluhan Saksi
Kasus ini sebelumnya telah menjadi perhatian publik setelah penyidik Ditreskrimsus Polda Babel melakukan serangkaian penyelidikan dan penyidikan secara mendalam. Dalam proses tersebut, sedikitnya 72 orang saksi telah dimintai keterangan guna mengungkap dugaan penyimpangan penggunaan dana hibah KONI Bangka Barat.
Penyidik kemudian menemukan adanya indikasi kuat penyalahgunaan anggaran yang tidak sesuai dengan rencana kerja organisasi olahraga tersebut.
“Jadi kedua tersangka ini sebelumnya sudah diperiksa sebagai saksi. Kemudian, setelah penyidik bekerja mengumpulkan serangkaian alat bukti, akhirnya penyidik menetapkan status keduanya sebagai tersangka dan segera menjalani pemeriksaan lebih lanjut,” kata Agus.
Kerugian Negara Capai Rp835 Juta
Berdasarkan hasil audit yang dijadikan dasar penyidikan, penyalahgunaan dana hibah KONI Bangka Barat diduga telah menyebabkan kerugian keuangan negara sebesar Rp835.422.845.

Menanggapi perkembangan kasus tersebut, Dewan Pimpinan Daerah Lembaga Investigasi Negara (DPD LIN) Bangka Belitung memberikan apresiasi terhadap langkah tegas Polda Babel yang telah menetapkan dan menahan para tersangka.
DPD LIN Babel menilai penahanan tersebut merupakan langkah penting dalam upaya penegakan hukum dan pemberantasan korupsi di daerah. Namun demikian, proses hukum harus terus dikawal hingga tuntas agar tidak berhenti hanya pada penetapan tersangka semata.

Siapa pun yang terlibat harus dimintai pertanggungjawaban sesuai hukum yang berlaku,” tegasnya.
DPD LIN Babel juga mendorong aparat penegak hukum untuk menelusuri kemungkinan adanya pihak lain yang turut menikmati atau terlibat dalam dugaan penyalahgunaan dana hibah tersebut.
